to strengthen the understanding of farm-city connections that provide food, fiber, and shelter.


The Lexington Farm-City Committee offers a $500 scholarship every year to one student from each of the six FFA Chapters in Lexington County ~ Batesburg-Leesville, Chapin, Lexington Technology Center, Gilbert, Pelion, and Swansea.

In order to qualify, the student must be a senior in high school, be continuing their education at either a 2 or 4 year college, and be an FFA student in good standing.

Students may get an application from their FFA Advisor. After completing the application, please mail your application to the address located on the scholarship application. Once the scholarship committee receives the applications, they will notify the student of a scheduled interview time. Scholarship winners will be announced at their respective annual FFA Awards Banquet each spring.
